Hi there! I’m Mephet, a big fan of all things Lord of the Rings – including the fantastic MMO, LotRO, which this blog centers around. I play mainly on the Landroval server (despite actually being European), but I’ve made a few alts over on Laurelin as well. I absolutely love writing; it’s something I’ve done for as long as I can remember. There’s just nothing better than to be able to create a story using lifelike characters and seeing them grow. When I started to play this game I quickly created a lot of characters, each with their own backstory, goal, motivation and relationships. Though I hadn’t done a bit of roleplaying yet, I had already many tales in mind about their lives and adventures. Instead of letting myself forget them, I decided to collect those stories in a blog. In time there will hopefully be many different types of posts to read: illustrated fictional stories, roleplaying stories, full immersion roleplay… It will remain to be seen. Other kinds of posts may appear as well, of course. Until then: navaer, mellon!
