GLERRA FLATFOOT

Glerra, a young hobbit from the little-known but old Flatfoot family, is a minstrel and a storyteller. She has left her family home, Flathall, in search of experiences to use in crafting an epic poem. Her great-grandfather, Halgard, was the first Flatfoot to gain the reputation of “rather queer”, and her author father, Ferdson, is described by most that know him as “funny”. Glerra is friends with Idaen.

IDAEN OF ROHAN

Though Idaen loves her homeland and people dearly, there is something in travel and exploration that she can’t resist. Her delight in the Shire and the north goes beyond the understanding of her brother Theorec. There’s little he can do, however, when after a journey to Winterhome his sister decides to stay in the west to help those in need.

ADELEINE GOLDHILL

Adeleine is the last remnant of the wealthy Goldhill family from Bree. Though having little to no income, Adeleine spends her inheritage freely and generously. Most of her nights are spent at the Prancing Pony, where she is sure to become acquainted with every traveller that passes through Bree.

THEOREC OF ROHAN

Theorec, a stout and strong rider from Rohan, is a man of duty, honour and determination. His loyalty to his homeland, lords and family is unwavering, but it is not always easy to fill the needs of all three. The rising threat of both Mordor and Isengard have now seperated Theorec from his wife and children once again. Hindered by doubts and guilt, he does his best to fight against the enemy.

ERYNDES OF MIRKWOOD

Eryndes is an elven scholar and historian. Though she loves the study of books and tomes, she resents the idea of exploring paths already taken. Her restlessness often drives her from her duties in Mirkwood to faraway lands where she fights evil and seeks artifacts. As times change every journey becomes more perilous.

ARRADETH

Arradeth, an elven explorer and cartographer, is an old friend to the northern branch of Flatfoot hobbits. First traveling in her youth with Halgard, she has since been good friends with his heirs at Flathole. She is passionate about maps, and creates so-called “traveling maps”: maps that carefully document the shapes of the ground, inhabitants of the lands, wildlife, etc.

HALGARD FLATFOOT

Though dead by the time of the War of the Ring, Halgard is a very notable Flatfoot, being the first one to truly be known as adventurous. His mother married one of the many Tooks. Halgard was the pair’s firstborn. On the eve of his thirty-third birthday he went on one of his usual walks and vanished, never to return home. His firstborn, Ferdic, came to claim Flathall many decades later.
